国产传媒 Arts Opens Season with East L.A. Band Las Cafeteras
国产传媒 Arts has announced its 2025-26 season of performances, exhibitions and public art programs, beginning with the return of East L.A.鈥檚 electrifying band Las Cafeteras.
The band鈥檚 D铆a de los Muertos-themed production, 鈥淗asta La Muerte,鈥� comes to Merced on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Art Kamangar Center at The Merced Theatre. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets 鈥� $15 for general admission and free for students with ID and for children 鈥� are available at and at the door starting 30 minutes before the performance.聽
鈥淭his season, we鈥檙e excited to celebrate artistry that is both homegrown and international 鈥� highlighting the extraordinary talent of Merced artists and presenting them alongside other world-class creators from across California and the United States,鈥� said Collin Lewis, Executive Director for the Arts at 国产传媒.
鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to welcome Las Cafeteras back to Merced to celebrate D铆a de los Muertos and to open the season with 鈥楬asta La Muerte,鈥� a celebration of life and memory.鈥�
The 2025-26 国产传媒 Arts season also will feature concerts, theater, dance, film and exhibitions across multiple venues. Many programs are offered free of charge, including visual art exhibitions at La Galer铆a, the annual 国产传媒 Children鈥檚 Opera, and the nationally recognized Shakespeare in Yosemite program with a new production of 鈥淟ove鈥檚 Labor鈥檚 Lost.鈥澛�
